And I am in a very monogamous relationship with the Martha glitters. They complete me and nothing else compares.

I want to buy them all! someone laughed at me and said you could get glitter at the dollar store... yeah Tongue

These are really great. I am used to the"creepyness" of these because my mom is a vintage fanatic.  Our house is filled with these things pretty much all year. Not just pumpkins though, she has decorations for every holiday! Anyways, these are terrific. I might make a few for her halloween collection!

Beautiful. May I ask how you got the glitter in such clean, straight lines? or do you just have an incredibly steady hand?!
Thankyou!

I guess it was mostly just patience. I measured out the pattern, drew on the lines with ink, and then painted 3 diamonds at a time with white glue and a small paint brush and applied lots of glitter. any more than 3 and the glitter wouldn't stick nicely anymore because the glue was starting to set. I'm an impatient crafter, so it was hard to leave the glitter alone until the glue set completely, but basically i would gently shake off the excess and move onto the next 3 diamonds, then repeat. i didn't clean off the non-glitter areas until the thing has set for quite a few hours to make sure i didn't accidentally bump the glittered diamonds. Afterwords I touched up a few of the diamonds that the glitter hadn't stuck nicely to. It probably took about an hour each painting to apply the glitter.

I personally believe Halloween should be creepy, which is why I love this sort of vintage stuff! I'm thinking i might make a few of these for myself too... they looked great on my mantle while they were drying Wink
