It seems like my friends' babies come in waves. A couple of weeks after finishing my last baby blanket I started on this one. Baby blankets are so cute and quick to knit!

Yarn: 3.3 balls of Lion Brand Cotton-Ease in Lake
Needles: Size 8

That's just so simple and lovely.  Awesome gift for a new little one!!  Is it from a specific pattern or book?  Great to know it works up quickly, too.  I just recently picked up my knitting needles again after a bit of a break and I'm currently doing the Santa motorcycle helmet cover that's been posted on here for my brother.  Must finish helmet cover....must resist urge to start cute, cuddly blanket.  So much yarn, so little time............ Cheesy

OMG I have a blanket in that exact pattern! It was a baby gift to my mom and now I use it for my kids. Mine is green So you can be sure that that blanket will hold up. Smiley
