Another shoe favor for my little sister.  She's in love with houndstooth so, naturally she asked me to redo a pair of shoes she had gotten bored with and to re-cover them with some houndstooth fabric.  Of course, we find some nice houndstooth fabric right away... when a few months ago when I was searching for some nice black and white houndstooth to make a purse, I couldn't find it anywhere.  Just some colorful stuff I had to settle for.... anyway, enough of my rambling and on to the pictures!

Here's the poor shoes before they got torn up:

and then afterwards:

Unlaced

Laced!

Oh lord, I need some better pictures.  I'll probably be posting some better pictures of them before the days over.

Check out my blog for the full journey of these shoes!

I've been meaning to re-do some shoes of my own with the rubber tip. Can you explain your process, please?  Smiley

Wow!  These are amazing.  Was it hard to recover them?  I've never seen someone recover shoes with fabric.

You did such a great job!!
I recently re-covered some ugly patterned Converse shoes with a dark green plaid...I'm very curious how you managed to get around or under the eyelets I couldn't figure that part out so I just followed the seam just underneath them. Could you please explain?
Thanks and great work again!!
