I made these for my sister & her best friend. They picked the fabric. Inside is a zippered pocket on 1 side & a row of 3 pockets on the other & a magnetic snap for closure. I hope they like them.

Those are so cute, how did you make them? Did you use a tutorial or pattern?

I've made this style for about a year now. I 've sort of made my own type. I took parts of alot of different purse & used them to a style that I like. The basic main style to start with is the Ottobre dotted dream -free pattern on Ottobre site. This purse is bigger by about 2 in tall & wide. Then the contrast band is 3 in tall.
These purses have a layer of fusible fleece on the outside- a layer of decor bond on the lining & a layer of stiffy interfacing in the middle.

did you square (add dimension) to the bottom of the bag or is it just sewn straight down on both sides?

They have 2 in square cut out of each corner for a gusset.

Adorable!  I especially love the spider one.  Love the fabric and it looks like you do great work!

These are so cute!  I really like the contrasting top band.  I'm sure your sister and friend loved them!  Cheesy
