First time working with shoes for me :]
Knock off Vans, $9.99 at walmart.
Any ideas of what I can add to the sides or the back?

Super cute! How about adding some grosgrain ribbon to the white rubber part along then bottom of the shoe? It comes in all colors and patterns and is thick enough it should be durable on a shoe and it would cover any paint mistakes.

I eat robots. I think you did a fatabulous job! I don't know what you would paint on the sides but I think it should look mechanical. ^__^

Life is to short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so eat the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't, and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance take it.

The shoes were actually navy colored. I couldn't find white in my size, it just took two coats of pink to hide it. :]

Cute! I should you should put teal, yellow, and pink geometric shapes or robot buttons or something with a grey or silver background.
