I'm a massage therapist.. and when I started spinning it was on a spindle.. now I have to be very careful with my wrists, hands and arms because I need them for work.. and I found spindle spinning to be MURDER on my wrists and arms.  I had to get a wheel to keep spinning..

Just a thought.. if you have problems with your wrists and arms.. a spindle might not be the best thing for you...

Thank you so much Jazzturtle.   I'm an esthetician (manicures pedicures body wraps etc....)  so I also need my hands for work.  If spindle spinning was murder on your otherwise healthy hands and arms, then best not chance it with my not so healthy hands and arms (I've got pinched nerves in my shoulders and neck, leading to numbness and pain if I over use them)

Looks like hubby might be getting me a wheel for christmas... though he doesn't know it yet!! lol

Still I might go buy some carded wool and start making rovings, just for fun, and something too do Cheesy
