I sewed a bag last night. I will be going downtown tomorrow and if I find a better fabric, I'll be sewing another one. Other than that, I'm ready to send. Smiley

I have all the parts laid out, and tonight I am going to try a little something with a pocket I haven't tried before. If it goes well, great - if not I have a back up pocket all ready to go!

honeyfresh, I'm sorry I haven't communicated with you too much in the last couple of weeks (OMG, I just looked at the calendar and realized how long I'm taking with this project)!  I hope to finish your bag tonight while my DH is at choir practice and not interrupting my sewing!  I hope you like the patterns and colors of the fabrics I picked out for you too!

This morning I had to wind a bobbin, of course in the middle of a seam Smiley, but at least I got as far as putting on the handles before I had to leave for work.

I'm sure it will be fine... if you don't care for what I send, feel free to pass it on!  Despite what they say on the TV show Seinfeld, I firmly believe in regifting!  These bags aren't reusable for nothing, right?  Smiley

My local fabric store ran out of the ribbon I planed for my bag. They said something about supply difficulties and that they may get new goods next Tuesday or maybe Friday. Or maybe a week later. Too many maybes for my taste. ARGHHHH Angry

Teaser 1

Teaser 2

But since they are for a guy, the second one really references the lining, not the outside!
