I'm sure someone's come up with this idea before, but I still wanted to show off my project of the night:

Our washer/dryer are in a little closet in our bathroom, where there was just enough space on the side of the washer to store a jug of detergent and the dryer sheets. Well, after 8 months of having to bend over to get these items I decided something had to be done about it. There's not enough space to put a shelf (at least not one that can be bought in the store... I'm still on the hunt!), so I tied some scrap yarn onto the box and came up with this:

Which the husband was impressed with, but I knew was only going to be temporary. So tonight I made this:

And now I'm much happier knowing that it matches my bathroom, it has clean lines, and it hides the ugly green box... not that anybody sees it with the door closed, but it still makes me happy Cheesy LOL

What a cute idea.  I think I'm going to make a cozy for my dryer sheets now.  I just know all the other ladies at the laudrymat would be jealous (right? maybe?).  Anyway, I know I love the idea, and that it's a great solution for your space.
