O! Now I have to make one of these too! I just love it, especially his little paw pads and his fancy tail! Can't wait to whip one up! ...and someday his owner will appreciate and show him lovins.   Smiley

Thanks so much for the love, everyone! I'm so tickled that he's been so highly appreciated!

Luvelycritter had requested the modified pattern pieces, and I thought that others might like to take a peek at them as well. Unfortunately, the best I could do was take a digital picture of the actual pattern pieces I used. I hope someone can make use of them, regardless.

Just to give you an idea, the leg is the same shape/ size as the original poppet leg. I just enlarged the foot. The ear, of course, is a different shape, and is shown rightside up. The tail -- the shield shape in the middle -- is a cut and fold jobby. When it's all sew up, the fold goes up (curvy side down)... and don't be a space cadet like me: Place the tail low. Our poor little puppy's tail is halfway up his back.

thanks.... as i said (in the pm) i shall make a red haired poppet then a puppy and if i come up with a brilliant idea for a 4th poppet (yes fourth) i will be glad to send you the patter n(if you like it of course)
