I love this pattern. It's not terribly hard you just have to be patient and pin ALOT! ;-D Hope you enjoy

Overall

A peek at the back- Minkie is the best!

A close up of the love beads.

Back- Hopefully you can see the quilting?

The Book where the pattern comes from... lots of great stuff in here. The best thing about it is they like wonkyness and imperfections... it adds character ;-D

The pattern comes from the The Modern Quilt Workshop. I've added a picture of the book cover to the original post. It has a lot of really great patterns in it. I can't wait to try a few more out actually.

Here's a link to Amazon for the book

so cute and your colors are great! is it difficult to quilt with minkie on the back? it looks awesome as a quilt back but it kindof frightens me to sew

Oh, I love it!
I love the color orange and you used it beautifully with the brown and the blue--really lovely.  Smiley

It's not too bad. I have a walking foot for my machine so that helps.

Although I did notice that the foot wasn't grabbing the minkie side as well for some reason. I've used minkie on the 3-4 quilts I've made so far and this is the only time I remember having to fight it... and really all I had to do was add a little pressure to make the fabric move under the foot at the right speed... if that makes sense  Wink

Very nice!  Not colors I've seen together much lately but I sure like them on that quilt.
