I was so excited about Fiber Friday cause I have something to post.  Grin Then Friday came and it wasn't as great as I wanted it to be in real life... but now I'm back to post my yarn!

First, I love The Lone Tree and Tartan from Teetante. So very nice! I also really like Sunset by maiziemama.

Here is my first attempt, well wholehearted attempt at corespinning. It was quite frustrating to start but I eventually got a little rhythm going.
It was a remake of a batt I made for the July Fiber of the Month swap. I hope my swap partner liked hers. Lots of varying fibers like coopworth, mohair, merino and domestic wool. All dyed in varying shades of green. Oh yeah, lots of glitz too!

I call it Mossy (unknown yardage)

wow, the red from the beets is so vibrant!

I'm going on record right now saying that this is what my mom THINKS it was dyed with.  She dyed a bunch of fiber with koolaid, but kept it separate from the stuff she dyed with natural things.  She is "pretty sure" this red/purple was beets, but I'm not.  However, she's the one who dyed it, so I have to go with what she says.  lol

Teetante, your yarns are gorgeous.  I especially love Tartan, so pretty!
