Here's my first sweater, a pale turquoise version of Purple Haze from Knit Wit. I made a few adjustments (more details and thoughts about the pattern can be found on my blog), and added the buttons because I thought it had a retro feel. I had some issues with the seaming (ugly) but blocking made things a bit less noticeable.

You can sort of see the collar here. It goes around the back of the neck.

The light turquoise really sets off all the beautiful garter edging, and the buttons are perfect!

I really love how it foofs out at the bottom hem-- really cute. And I like the color on you! I think you made an awesome choice color-wise.
