I took a stab at making one, no pattern at all just freehand drawing of what I wanted and this is how it turned out.

Great job. Is there a zipper on the side? I was gonna try something like that. I haven't done zippers yet and I was thinking without a zipper on the side. It would be difficult to get the baby down into the sack.

It's not what you know, but what you do with what you know that is important.

This is really nice.  I am expecting a new bundle of joy in January and this will come in handy,  thinking of making a couple of them.  Some questions did you use a zipper or buttons to open/close it?  If so where did you place it?

There is no zipper since I am not a huge fan of them, I put snaps at the top of the straps. I think that is will be functional and I am going to give it a shot with a zipper.

Thanks for the great idea.  My DD's BF is expecting twins.  I think she would enjoy something like this.

Great job!  I'm planning to make one of these (winter weight) in the next few weeks.  Smiley  Haven't decided if I want to do a zipper or not yet though.  Love the print on this one.
