I found the pattern for this pencil case at a fair. The ones they had there had plaid red fabric at the bottom. I got the polka-dotted fabric from my aunt and I think it looks even better than the original one  Smiley I'm still looking for any patch, maybe a toadstool... What do you think?

Looks great! I think a patch or even a ribbon & button accent would be just the right finishing touch. Maybe a felt applique?

Thanks! I guess a big red button would look good... Haven't thought about that before but it sounds great. What I had in mind was a kind of embroidered applique. Unfortunately I haven't found what I had in mind.

please dont do a toadstool,  i used to like them but theyre really all over the place- (same with birdies)

do something else, something random, like a-... uh... gramophone (i know its not the best idea, first thing that popped into my head)
