I have a can of lychee and I have no idea what to do with it.  I've never had it before.  Should i just eat it straight from the can like any other canned fruit, or is there something tastier I can do with it?  My google-fu must be weak today because all i keep coming across is drink recipes, and that's not really my scene.

thanks eveyone!

Save them for a Halloween treat!!
Drain them & stuff a red or green seedless grap in each one... put in a big glass bowl & chilll..

they taste(my own opinion) better chilled in the fridge..but yes you can eat it straight out of the can or over ice cream(drained) with just the fruit..I have used it in fruit salad,too..I used pudding mix as a base with whipped cream and various fruit..

let us know what you come up with..its a tasty fruit..

yea i agree with smittenheart. ice cream i had before and its great. most of the times i just eat it from the can(or fresh sometimes, but they spoil fast for me...) its a good "clean" fruit with a light flowery taste(clean as not relaly heavy flavor or strong and such). sometimes when i eat too much i get a nosebleed..very weird.

they grow here (hawaii) and are delicious. i've never had them from a can but you should at least try them plain. they are so yummy. once you taste them you can play around with them. fruit salad? Cheesy

I'd definitely chill them and then either add them to fruit salad (with other exotic fruits would be fab) or make a fruity drink.
