and just a little abstract thingie, just playing around

OK, and I really just wanted to show of this AWESOME estate sale find. I got all this stuff:

(11 un-opened packages of quilling strips, looks like they are from the 70's)
and this

brand new, never used quilling kit, all that for a whopping $.35
(same sale I got a brand new knitting machine for $25, some cool old wooden alphabet stamps for $2.00 and a bunch of other stuff)

Ooh! What a fun find! I remember doing a project in elementary school like this and the teacher just put a lot of paper through a shredder to get the long strips.. haha!

That is an awesome find...now I'm going to be running to estate sales looking for quilling supplies...so cheap!! Smiley  Love your first creations!  Looks like you have your paper quilling shapes down really well!  Have fun!
