Here is my Queen of the Night costume. I got a really late start on it, but it came out okay.

I posted the "story" under the challenge: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=276891.msg3131015#msg3131015

what do you think? Maybe I'll actually get to wear it next year.

This year my husband and I went to a couple of parties and we really don't like to repeat costumes.

So for the first party we went as Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac

And for the second one we went as Juno McGuff & Paulie Bleeker

I've got more details about how we made the belly and bruises in my costume thread here:

My steampunky something.
I never came up with an official "what my costume is"
But people gave me:
Timetravler/Amelia Earhart/Pirate/Character from the movie "Mad Max" which I've never seen/ Dystopian Future version of myself.

I was pretty resourceful in this costume. The white shirt is thrifted, the skirt was made from an old A-line homecoming dress I had, I rouched it up with the elastic from and old fitter bedsheet, the corset is an old corset from Forever 21 that I covered with olive linen-y fabric from a thrifted shirt, the goggles are chem-lab goggles covered in old-woven leather belt leather, and the belt/holster is a thrifted pair of awesom leather suspenders.
whew.

My boyfriend and I went as Juno and Paulie for halloween. This is the first time either of us has done a Couple Costume.

Just Paulie

Just Juno, well...1950's schoolgirl and Juno under the table after a few handfuls of shots
