Inspired by: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=268586.msg3026574#msg3026574  I decided that I must have one of these, so I made myself one.  I am thrilled with the way that it turned out and will also be making one for Christmas. (Heck, maybe every holiday!)

Comments really appreciated!  This is my first project that I am posting to craftster.  YAY!!

Wow, that is really terrific!
I love the different fabric/ribbons you used. I don't think I would have the patience for it.
Did it take very long to do?

It took about 1 1/2 hours from cutting the fabric to hanging it on my door.  I used a rotary cutter to make a quick job of the cutting and since I cannot cut a straight line with a scissors to save my life, I needed the ruler to help.   Embarrassed  The strips are about 9- 91/2 inches long and then tied in a single knot on the wire clothes hanger.  Sooo easy.

Next time, I'll wait to buy the fabric after the season when its on clearance.  I went a little overboard with the fun fabric and spent a bit more then I (and my husband) would have liked.  ($17.20!)

Now I just hope that no one takes it off of my door!   Sad

Thanks for the info! I wonder if I would be able to do this on a bit smaller of a scale, and use Halloween ribbon instead? Again, I love it! And an hour and a half is NOT bad at all!
