Ever since Project Runway started this season and I saw Kenley wearing feather hair pins, I have been coveting them.  I need to buy feathers, etc, because these are beautiful!

Very pretty!! I've been wanting to make some of these, but I couldn't find any good feathers. Where do you get your feathers?

Super Cute! I am making one A.S.A.P. How did you attach the feather piece to the headband? Did you glue it or what? Thanks for the great tute!

sorry, my camera broke before I could get a good shot in, but I'll try to get one up soon!

but in a  short version, I put on the headband and marked where the ends of the pad were (I like to have the pointed side facing down, by my ear, but it's your choice) and then put a line of hot glue (it takes a second to like the two up, so you want it as hot as possible) on the headband, and a line of glue down the back of the pad (leather side obvi.) and push the two together. After that, I cut out a little teardrop of leather and glued it right on top of back over what I just did so that the glue wasn't exposed

I hope that helps!  Cheesy

Thank you so much for your tutorial. I ordered a bunch of peacock feathers and was sitting here surrounded by them and a headband and some glue and had no idea where to start. Your headbands are so cute!
