Could someone help me out with this pattern?
http://www.coatsandclark.com/Crafts/Crochet/Projects/AfghansThrows/WR1680+Crochet+Austrian+Sleigh+Robe.htm

I understand how to do the green square strips and the white and the bobbles and all that, but when it comes to making the holly pattern over the white...all this pattern does is show me the grid of the pattern but not if it is cross stitch or something else...can someone please explain it to me and if you know what it is how to do it? or a link on how to do this part of the pattern?

many many thanks in advance!!

Its cross stitched over the white.
I'm just guessing here because I've never done this [though it is a cool idea and I might play with it]... you use the white part as your grid to crochet on. The chart shows you where to cross stitch and it has a key for the colors below.
