I made this for a niece's upcoming birthday. I wanted it to be bright and initially hoped to use glow in the dark thread, but Hobby Lobby didn't have any when I went to buy some . . . so I saw this great orange frame with a brightly-colored mat and chose that, then used the colors in the mat as the colors for the skate. I love how bright and cheery it turned out!
