My first cake! Mario 1-up Mushroom Cake [Lots of Pics]

It's my first actual cake! I had help from my friend and I tried to surprise my boyfriend for his bday with it.... but he already knew I was coming. My friend and I tried out riverwatson's marshmellow fondant tutorial to make the fondant. The cake itself is vanilla with vanilla frosting underneath the fondant.
