Brown and Cream Invitations

I've just started the planning for my wedding next July and thought I'd start with the invitations.  After much frustration I've finally come up with a basic design that I like but I'm not sure exactly what to go with.

Our colors are chocolate and cream and we're going for a simple modern look.  I really like the monogram box thing but I'm having trouble deciding what the layout for the rest of the invitation should be.  The color of the backing paper and text are actually closer to the brown of the ribbon in #3 and not black as it looks like.

Your thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated.  I know it's tough to get the whole idea with the lovely identity protection I have implemented but do your best!

Nice.  I like the first and the last best.  Can't decide if I like the ribbon... Maybe it doesn't even need it.

I love the look of the one with the ribbon, it's very rich (in color) and almost edible.

i like number one.  it seems cleaner and more streamlined to me.

definitely #3 i think the other 2 look a little too much like a resume or business document

Number three is the best in my opinion, the second one is second-best. Congratulations, by the way!

i think the ribbon is a little too busy... number two is my favorite. i like that the text is on the left and the monogram is on the right (which is GORGEOUS, btw!) it looks more balanced that way.

I love the ribbon. However, it might be a tad too wide. Perhaps a slightly narrower one? Or you could smoosh the text a little more the left or perhaps a combo of the two.

As a second vote I like the first one:)

If you moved all your wording to the left, so it is alongside the ribbon, it will look better-have you thought about a paper ribbon instead of satin? You could use the same paper as the background but cut it in a strip to go down the page-maybe even texturize the paper first. yes, I think texture may do the trick.
