Do you have any ideas for attaching something like that? I'm not sure how to do it without being sloppy...

I would just buy one of those rubbery non-slip mats from the dollar store and put it underneath... I wouldn't attach it, myself.

you can dot on puffy paint for fabric, that's what you use on kid pj's with feet. it's super un-slippy!

connecting the strips with slits is genius.  i've made things with strips of fabric before, and i either sewed the ends together (took forever) or just kind of overlapped them and hoped for the best (this held, until you threw the item in the washer)...

i love the mat!  great job  Smiley

Also, your cat makes me LOL. He looks JUST like my cat when I catch him scratching something he oughtn't. I know that look ve-e-ery well.

I love the bedsheet idea! I did one with t-shirts, cut in the spiral and believe me I couldn't move my hands for like two day after all that cutting. Yuck! I think I'll give it a go with some bedsheets now. HTanks for the idea!!

You must be reading my mind - I recently uncovered a pair of bedsheets while doing a room clearing out that are too old and thin for use.

Now I know why I didn't throw them out - I was waiting to see this from you.

Thanks,
Janey
