I just finished this! It's for a co-worker and his wife is ready to pop at any moment, so just in the knick of time it's done -- how most of my projects happen.





this one is just about the whole thing, best shot i got, it's about 3x4
so lemme ask y'all though, they are having a little boy, i started the blanket b4 they knew what they were having, so i figured that it was pretty unisex, but do you think that it's too girl-y for a boy   i mean with the hearts and all?  I asked the BF and he wasn't really of any help....

beautiful! i think it will be very well received, hearts or not. It's so sweet! my boyfriend's niece and nephew each received a pink, white and blue ripple blanket when they were babies- they love them, their mother loved them. You did a great job, i don't think the hearts make it girly at all:)

I would say that this is suitable for a boy.  The hearts don't make it girly. 
It is gorgeous btw!!

Thanks you guys ! I got the pattern in a Leisure Arts book called "Love me Tender Baby Afghans" it's the treasured hearts one, i bought the book some time ago, there is your standard 7 or 8 patterns inside.

How are the color changes done? Do you have lots and lots of tied in ends on the backside?

at the point where the baby would care  or even notice, he wouldn't be using a blanket any more anyways.

Oh its so pretty & not too girly for a boy. Its perfect for a baby boy. I've had 4 boys so I know.
