Hey! I just moved out here to Surprise Arizona and I was wondering if there were any crafters around! PM me if you live close, I've only been here 15 days but I'm already going crazy due to the lack of (meaning ZERO) Crafty friends. Let me know if your interested in becoming buddies!

Welcome to AZ!
You have one of the best needlepoint shops up by you- it's call Needler's Nest on Bell Road. good place to start.

Welcome to Surprise!  Not much in the way of craft stores here except Michaels. You'll have to go to Glendale and Peoria for supplies. The new Goodwill on Grand, old one on Bell by the 99 Cent store.  My friend owns the quilter's shop at 99th and Bell called Sun Valley Quilts.  Jewelry supplies at D & I  on 75th and Cactus- lots of crafty people there.

I am in Chicago taking care of family, so maybe when I get back to Surprise I will contact you.  Oh, look at Michaels, in the aisles, for crafters!!!!!

Best of luck and welcome again!

I work at Michaels on Ray Rd in PHX and there seem to be a lot of crafters here. I have been told that there is a Hobby Lobby in Avondale but I haven't been there yet. There are a few of our employees that are crafty including me.
