I made this for my granddaughter, I love the flannel quilts they are so soft and warm. I pieced the back and it has a layer of flannel in the middle to make it a little heavier. This is the first quilt that I did the binding by hand and I love how it turned out.

action shot!

Sweet! The binding does look very good. Looks like she will be able to use it for quite a while - plenty of room to grow!

I've never been lost, but I will admit to being confused for several weeks.

Love the paisley print. That's a flannel too? Really cute quilt.

Love the quilt accessory even more Grin Adorable little smile.

This is beautiful! The colors and the pieced back are so lovely. She is a lucky little girl.

aww   of course the action shot is the best one!  hehe  i prefer to finish the binding by hand since I have such trouble sewing it straight by machine.  I think it is worth the extra time.
