Yay, its almost partner time.  **Happy dance**   Okay, still 4 days away but "Let's get ready to Ssssswwwaaappp!"

I've got lots of dolly ideas and chomping at the bit to get started!

I really haven't given this swap much thought yet and haven't formed any ideas as to what I will be making.  I guess it will all take shape when I get my partner info.  I know that there are certain themes I might not like and therefore I don't think that people should be jumping the gun and making any dotees just yet.

Maybe I'm missing something. Are we making these to order? I didn't see anything in the sign up form that indicates what we want or don't want, so I assumed that the creator would have some latitude...

I don't know about the others in this swap, but I just want to receive what my partner wants to make.  I really enjoyed the variety of dotee's that I received last time.  I personally made dolls that I wanted to make and tried to match them to the partner that I thought would enjoy them the most.  I think my partners seemed happy with that.  (If you didn't feel free to disagree with me.  I'll try not to cry  Cheesy)
Now if I got a partner who requested something special, I would probably try to make it for them.

in the last question i put in a ton of personal stuff about what i would like, i was pretty specific actually. i've never done a swap where you didn't say what you do and don't like and i always try to get a feel for my partner either through the questionairre or by stalking them. i go so far as to check out the posts they have responded to and seeing what was crafted. maybe i'm crazy though.

The bad news: There is no key to happiness.
The good news: It isn't locked.

I would pretty much accept most of what my partner would send me.  But there are specific styles I would not like.  I would not like alien beings, robots, skull-type stuff, goeth or wierd stuff like that, so even if my partner wanted to make them, I would not like them.  Usually you use what your partner tells you as a guideline, but you do have to respect some of their dislikes.  If they say they detest the color orange, you wouldn't want to make anything orange for them.  It's just a matter of common sense.

If I wasn't so busy with projects right now, this would be my first swap! I'll have to keep an eye out for another round in the future.

I sent in the questionnaire, but I haven't heard back yet. I hope I'm in!  Smiley
