Well my husband works with a group home for troubled teens, and for the past 4 years we've held a Fall Fest to encourage community awareness and to fund raise since it operated primarily on donations.  As part of the festivities our coordinator organizes a silent auction, auctioning off donated items assembled into theme baskets.  This is my contribution.  Its a baby blanket, hat, booties and sweet little bunny,  Sorry the photos are low quality.

The blanket pattern......

The bunny and booties........

I lost the blanket pattern half way through and couldn't remember the name to reprint.  It was a free one I found on the net, if anyone recognizes let me know so I can see how my made up finish compares to the instructed one.  Thanks for looking.

The set is beautiful!  I like that blanket pattern.  Perhaps someone will remember it so I can put it on my list of things to do.  (Like I need help with that!)

I'm sure it will fetch a great donation in the silent auction.

I like it all. Do you have a pattern for the booties? I love the colors you used for the bunny and booties as well as the blanket. Great Job.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

Thank you!
The booties came from a book called Crochet for Babies and Toddlers by Betty Barnden.

That's what I thought the name of it was but I couldn't find it on the site again.  With your help though I did find it here  http://www.marymaxim.com/wcsstore/MaryMaxim/images/freepatterns/softeebabylaceborderblanket.pdf

I thought it was supposed to have a ribbon in the border but I had lost the pattern so I just went with a picot stitch I liked it though.  One of my mom's friends bought it for her new granddaughter and that makes it even better because I know it will be loved.
