A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet.

I had a lot of fun putting all the patches together for this twirly dress. It's from Vegbee's tutorial at
http://indietutes.blogspot.com/2007/05/patchwork-circle-skirt.html. It's for my granddaughter's fourth birthday. I love to applique and my quilting friends give me all their scraps, so I pieced a lot of the patches together from these scraps. The dress is in the mail so I'm awaiting a picture (hopefully a video) of the dress on the twirling girl. Her poor twin brother is only getting legos.

Thank you Vegbee for your great tutorials!

I'm not sure what possessed me to put the busy twirly dress against the busy rock wall for the picture. . .

I used McCall's pattern 5613 for the top.

Isn't that adorable!  I'm sure she'll love it!  I'm also certain that the boy will like Legos better than a twirly dress for himself.   Cheesy Cheesy

It's as much fun to scare as to be scared.

hey, legos aren't so bad  Grin

My favorites are when there is a lot of different fabrics.  This is lovely - I'm sure granddaughter is going to twirl herself silly  Smiley
