It's like the craftster banner says:

Adorable picture(s) by the way!

that skirt is my FAVORITE skirt shape right now. i love it! the photo collage looks great, too Smiley

and i'm on the same boat with you and everyone else...although, i do think that making art (in the case of fabulous clothing) just for the fun of it actually IS saying something. i think a great garment says, "i'm FABULOUS....and i know it!!!" hehe Wink

happy sewing! and kudos to you for making your own stuff instead of waiting until the sewing classes start. you'll be way ahead of the game!

Your "poster" is very cute and fun and HAPPY! That can be so tedious trying to find some deep meaning in everything in life. "Teach, you assigned us to do xyz. Look I have xyz."

I also see the other side. Sometimes I am expressing sorrow or joy. Sometimes I just felt like making a stuffie. Isn't there a famous quote akin to "sometimew a rose is just a rose."

MAKE: something of yourself

Heh. I'm a fashion design graduate, and we had the same setup at our school. 1st year basics, then 3 years of your major. I wanted to get to the fashion and didn't want to deal with the art crap!  Of course, turns out by the end of it, I loved the art crap and I miss that more than the fashion!  Well, I work in the industry so I guess i can't miss it all that much. :\  But I sure am heartbroken about the art. Sad
