So I made these legwarmers for weet! in the Is It Fall Yet? swap

I used the manresa pattern from knitty.  These legwarmers took waaaaaay longer to knit than I had expected, but I learned a ton about stranded knitting during the process.

And after I had finished, I looked at the pompoms in the original pattern and was suddenly inspired to add acorns instead. (and I admit, it was a little hard to give them away, but my swap partner loves them, which makes me so very happy)

here they are (sorry, i can't seem to get the image to upload right side up)

Here's a closeup of the fairisle pattern (by the way, I loooove this color combination of deep chocolatey brown and dark autumn red):

And a closeup of the acorns Smiley

Thanks for looking!  And I definitely recommend this pattern to anyone else

Gorgeous colours! Thanks for reminding me about that pattern... I've been meaning to make those for a while now.

Then we should feed our jewelry to the sea
