I've done the opposite, gone overboard on decorating my tin and then had to watch what I put in there! Cheesy

Cute! I don't know how y'all do the polymer clay thing. I can never get it to play fair.

The latest tins are too cute Smiley Nice work!

I'm sure this has been asked before but.... do you just toss the whole tin with the clay on into the oven?

I haven't done a lot of tins with clay, but that's how I did it.

I did it in stages actually...so I did the base first, what covered the whole tin..then I would add the different layers and bake...I didn't put it in the full time though...the first bake was for about 5 to 7 minutes and i did it in four stages all in 5 to 7 minute increments.  But the last I did for a full 15...nothing seemed to burn but I would be cautious.  And everyone was right about not worrying about the clay coming off, it sticks just fine. Grin  It was really fun! Cheesy definately going to do more.. Wink

I eat the cat!  My clay skills are no where near that.  The cording is supposed to hang from the rear view mirror, or it can be a bookmark.
I had to change handles, my daughter tried pulling on the beads to open it, and broke them, so I went with a ribbon.  I had already taken the photos, so ignore the beads.
Here is the back of the tin.

Some  better shot of the mirror on the lid.

I had fun with the vintage theme.
If you run out of the post its, you can replace them.  I used some tack it over and over on it, so it would refill.
Glad you liked it..

Oh that is cool on post it notes!
those are much better pics of the inside - it's being diplayed by my computer so I can enjoy it when I'm online at night.  Grin  The monsters on the fridge until I redo my craft room with a super large metal magnet board then they are moving to the craft room - I spend more time in there than the kitchen <G>. And the cording will be used as a bookmark I think - it's so pretty.

yours is packaged and ready to go in the mail after work today - will be pming you and Rackycoo later tonight Smiley

Okay so I received yesterday and my tin is ghoulish!  I eat it!  The top is a mini cemetary with moss and rocks and everything.  The sides are decorated with ribbons and bats.

The inside has some Halloweeny stickers and pretty orange fabric.  There are also more bats!

Stuffed inside the tin there was a pumpkiin necklace, a pouch with earrings, two marble magnets and some pumkin lip balm.

Sorry there are no action shots cause my husband wasn't home to take pictures for me!  Also if you have any better pics please post them.  I am not a great photographer Wink
Thank you so much I eat my tin and all the goodies!  What a great unicorn zombie apocalypse!!!
