Swap name: Fill-A-Box Canadian Style Round 2!
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: Slingmomma
Sign-up date range: 09/19/08-10/03/08 partners 10/04/08
Date to send item by: 11/03/08

Limited to a certain number of people: nope!
Age requirement? At least 13 and please have your parents permission and a way to the post office!

Restricted to people who all live in the same country? YES
If so, which country? CANADA

Because we will be using Prepaid Xpresspost Bubble Envelopes this swap is limited to Canada, sorry.

Swap Organizer himself/herself meets these conditions:
- Has fully read the Swap Info Guide: YES
- Has successfully completed two swaps as a participant: YES
- Is not organizing more than three swaps right now: YES
- Will recruit a co-organizer or give all details to a Swap Moderator if this swap has more than 25 participants: YES

Swap Organizer will check each participant to make sure they meet these conditions:
- Has been a member for at least one month: YES
- Has posted at least 15 times: YES
- Has completed one swap successfully before signing up for multiple swaps at a time: YES
- Is not currently signed up for more than five swaps: YES
- Does not have any negative feedback: YES
- Participant has agreed that he/she is at least 13 years old: YES

Details of swap:
It's round 2 time!! This time we are going to change things up a little bit. You will now have the option to send crafted items along with a few supplies or just crafty supplies.

For those wishing to send crafted items:
You will be sending 6-8 points of crafted items. Points are as follows:
A large item=3 points
A medium item=2 points
A small item=1 point

You can do any sized items as long as your finished crafts total between 6-8 points. Also please remember to add in your crafty supplies in your envelope as well. The supplies ARE NOT included in your points. If you and your partner wish to send more please discuss it with them and just let me know.
By Time
-Big = 3++ hours
-Medium = 2+ hours
-Little = 2 or less hours
By Size
-Big = A shawl, a shirt, a skirt, a jewelry set
with four to five items, a purse
-Medium = one single necklace or bracelet, a scarf
-Small = Earrings, stickers, wallets, pouches, bookmarks
By Price
-Big = $30 or more
-Medium = $10-$30 dollars
-Small = $10 or less

For those sending just crafty supplies:
We will be filling up our bubble envelopes as much as we possibly can full of craft supplies. This option is great swap for new swappers, as you only have to send supplies and such!

For both options!
Feel free to use whatever you have in your stash for supplies, as well as new items if you wish! The purpose is to get rid of any unused items to make way for new supplies and ideas!

For this swap we will be using the largest sized Xpresspost Bubble envelopes from the post office (Canada post doesn't have prepaid boxes). The bubble envelopes we will be using are 25.4cm x 40.6cm. You can see them on the Canada Post website here (National) and here (Regional) and they can be purchased at any post office. You will have the option, in the questionnaire, of where you want to send either within your Region (Regional) or outside (National), as there is a price difference between envelopes. Regional is $10.49+tax and National is $19.49+tax. Keep in mind that this covers shipping and the weight of your package, so stuff them as full as you can because there is no extra charge no matter how heavy they get!

Canada Post defines the regions as follows:
Atlantic: Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick
Central: Quebec and Ontario (includes Northwestern Ontario postal codes P7A-K, P8N, P8T, P9A, P9N, P0T-Y)
Western: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba (includes Northwestern Ontario postal codes P7A-K, P8N, P8T, P9A, P9N, P0T-Y)
Nunavut: X0A, X0B, X0C
Northwest Territories: X0E, X0G, X1A
Yukon: all

Once you send you package you must PM both your partner and the organizer your tracking number (it will be the item number located on the label of your envelope) and please if you can, take your package to the post office to have your label stamped by the postal worker when you send it. This just ensures that your package has been received and you have proof of acceptance at the post office (in case of any loss or damage). It will also make shipping quicker.

You will have the option of sending a second envelope as long as it is a joint decision between you and your partner.

You must check in on this thread as well as with your partner at least once a week if not more. If you will have any issues with sending late please PM me and let me know. Communication is key in receiving the supplies or crafts that you want in this swap. Also please be able to take pictures of your items or have your partner do it for you! We want a nice full gallery!

i'd love to do this, if i could get someone within my region. (which would be western). i'll come back in a few days, see how things are going.  Smiley oh, and just for info's sake, i'm definately a crafting and supplies kind of person.

I've got tones of fabric an yarn comming out of my nose along with alsorts of mis craft supplies and craft mags and books. I also have some candle making supplies laying around not being touched, I had realy wanted to get into it but I realy prefered soap making over the candles.

For themes I realy like blues and pinks along with good old black. But I'n not picky at all I love all the colours of the rainbow. I love all crafts and am willing to learn new ones, lol.
