Do you just get the flat rate box at the post office or something?? Haha my mom always ships my stuff (I'm only 16!) :]
But I've decided to be more independent this time :]

my grandparents all thought that I was gonna get the shaft my first swapping time.  That's what the great moderators are for.

(And since I'm your partner, don't worry, I promise I won't flake! Wink)

I'm awesome. Smiley

I have vintage yarn that I would like to give to someone! Please send a message if you'd like to obtain it.  I have lots!

if you are in the USA the flat rate boxes are available at the post office free - usually with the other priority boxes (also free) or you can order them in bundles also free online at the usps website here:

http://www.usps.com/

there are now international flat rate boxes too, I think but I didn't look too closely at that.

And since i'm 16, my mom is starting to get sketched out by this...

it's not older people - it's parents, LOL!

on another note!

I have sent a box - 9 pounds 12.6 ounces.  Grin

yea, you just ask for a flat rate box (sometimes they have them sitting out) at the post office, they are free.  you can also order them off usps.com.

parents worry, it's what we do... one day when you find out you are going to have a baby, you will totally understand.
I would suggest giving your mom a tour of craftster, show her what it's all about and how we're not all a bunch of creepy creeps.  Wink

maybe your mom will join too - there are a lot of sibs and parent/child folks on here! heck - I been trying to get my mom to find the time to join - she always reads as a guest. Talk about killer crafting skills! anyone that got my mom as a swap partner would be seriously well cared for.

I got my sister onto Craftster finally but she spends more time knitting than surfing...which is, I guess, a good thing. She just made me a cool hat Smiley

when I am organizing, I have had parents ask not to be paired to their child - and I never in a zillion years would have pegged them as related, LOL!

That's too cool, I've slightly intro'ed my mom, she's 2 hours away so it's an easy way for her to see things that I've finished b/w visits too.  I'd love for her to get more involved w/ it but i think my dad would kill me.
