the extensive questions and answers period has concluded and now I know what I need to dig out to send in the box, I can get it all ready to go - I too will need to send a flat rate box size as I can't afford the postage per weight on anything else, LOL!

A flat rate box is a priority box from USPS that you can chock full and pay the flat rate regardless of weight.

If you all can afford to do it, the LARGE flat rate box for about $12.50 is a great way to go if you having issues cramming the regular size full.

I'm doing the Large flat rate box for one of my partners because they are $2 less when shipping to an APO but it really doesn't seem all that much bigger now that I have started stuffing it...

I am convinced that the larger flat rate box just has a larger flat rate -- I didn't see a significant benefit to that larger box for 3 extra dollars.  But maybe that's just me.  Smiley

I've got my boxes all packed up and ready to go... I will probably print shipping online tonight and have them picked up tomorrow.
