They are both nicely done but only the groom's cake makes me drool. I'm a chocolate girl. Combine chocolate with strawberries and I am a goner. Smiley

I really like how you stacked the bride's cake, I have never seen anything like it. The groom's cake is also really neat. Most groom's cakes are small in my experience, but that is lovely. It looks delicious.

You know, I really don't care for chocolate that much, and certainly not an overload of chocolate.  However, I must congratulate you not only on how great the cake looks, but for doing something non-traditional.  There is something so boring and overdone about a white cake and white dress and church weddings that anything to go against the norm is wonderful in my eyes.  Your cake definitely draws my eye to it much more than the white bridal cake.

If God really loved us, our saliva would taste like chocolate.

WOW! Those cakes are both fantastic! The groom's cake looks rich and delicious, but, hey, I'm a sucker for vanilla and buttercream! I'd eat both, of course, and if I were the bride, I wouldn't mind one bit that more deliciousness was added to the dessert table! I think they both look fantastic!
