That quilt is BEAUTIFUL.  I love how you matched other fabrics to the "under the rainbow" oz fabric - looks great!

Amazing hooded sweatshirt in my favorite colors!!
Thanks, it's awesome! All my hoodies are too small for my pregnant belly, except for my brand new one Smiley

Yeah...the hoody is at least loosely inspired by the flying monkey costume from the movie - were I any good at direct translations of anything I'd be working for the UN Wink

Here's a pic of the full front with my son in it.  He wants one now too.

It was a spur of the moment flash of inspiration that came to me at the fabric store to make it so when I was buying I was going by my memory image of the costume and not the real deal.  I completely forgot about the white bits which would have made it more obviously flying monkey-esque.  I'd never really worked with polar fleece before this project.  It was very forgiving in ways I hadn't imagined and unforgiving in ways I thought I had covered.  I think next time I choose to applique fleece to fleece I'll use quilter's spray adhesive or something to stabilize it.  If you lot have any suggestions in that capacity, I would appreciate them!

I don't know anything about fleece all I've made are blankets but you did an amazing job!

Yeah...if you look at Myrna's shots of it you'll see there are little red wings on the back  Cheesy

I actually bought grey for the wings but I wasn't happy with the hue and thought the red went better with the stylized look of the rest of it.
