I want to order "hand made by Michelle Ames" labels to sew onto/into my projects. Has anyone ordered?  From where? Did you like them? Etc...

Not sure if this'll help much, but...

Few months back, I bought two packages of eight, from Hancock Fabrics, on markdown. They were 80c a package, down from $2.,  and of course, they said "Hand Made by Susy", not Dorrie. The package said I could trade 'em in for labels with my name, I just had to mail them back with a self-addressed stamped envelope. So I did. Just when I'd about given up on 'em - about six or seven weeks - they arrived ! So if you find 'em cheap at your fabric store, rest assured that Name Maker, at PO Box 43821, Atlanta GA 30336-0821 does honor its promise. Just might take longer than expected.

If you don't wanna go that route, The Deluxe Woven Label Company offers a logo and colors, even colored lettering, 36 labels for $21., plus $3. S/H.  I can't find 'em online, except for a British site, but it'll at least show you what they got. Be glad to scan and send their ad, if you like. It's funny - they're a part of McCall's Patterns, but darn if I can find 'em anywhere but ads.

About the only luck I had finding other companies - Charm, Frontier, Heirloom, etc. - that does short-run woven labels was by searching Google with  ' "made by me" sew in labels' as the search criteria.

Not a lot of help, I know - but maybe it's enough for a jump-off point ? If you find what you need, and they provide good service, let us know !

I order mine through clothlide catalog.

I ordered my last set through here:

They were kind of slow on delivery, but the labels are pretty nice. I'd probably place my next order with them again.

Try Fancyweaver on EBay.  They are the cheapest for woven labels I've EVER seen!  They charge $35 for 200.  Upload your own artwork for $55 for 200!!!!

I have an embroidery machine & quick font software, so I just make my own.  Perhaps you could look at hiring them out to someone with an embroidery machine in your state/province (depending on what country you live in!)

I live in my own little world, but it's ok, they know me here.

They aren't woven, but MommieMadeIt on Etsy does great work - I use her printed labels and I like them a lot, and she was great to work with!
