Earth, Air, Water, Fire ~~ I have a stash of things and ideas for all four and would love to swap them. I can craft for this but am not able to organize it right now. Anyone interested in participating and/or organizing?
I missed the last "sacred" type swap, that could be incorporated too.

I like this idea a lot but I don't know what I would make for it. :-/

we would craft and send extras representing the four elements, incorporating our partner's likes. for example:

earth~ semi precious stone jewelry, tree and/or creature images, woven basket of natural grasses.

air~bird images or toy, something with airplanes, clouds, wind chimes, anything musical.

fire~something very red like a scarf, spicy hand blended tea, hot sauce, candles, incense.

water ~ a sea creature amigurumi, beaded fish pendant, decoupaged ocean images on a box or book, painting of water, bath stuff, etc.

i think people would be able to come up with tons of amazing ideas for this and that they'd be so diverse.

AHH! What great ideas! Cheesy I hadn't thought of it that way. Smiley

Not sure when I'd be able to participate. I've kinda taken too much on my swapping plate for life right now, heh...

This sounds like a great swap!  Unfortunately, I'm committed to organizing the D&D swap in a month, and it'll be my first time.  If no one steps up before that one is over, though, I may be able to do it!  (Maybe!  Like I said, the other one will be my first time, and it will depend upon how that goes).  I hope this gets off the ground one way or another, though!

I think that this is an awesome idea and I am always looking for swaps where the creative possibilities are endless.  I would be willing to organize but note I would be a newbie at it.  If you all would feel comfortable with a newbie organizer and still want to do this let me know.   Wink

I like this too - but I am already organizing two swaps and commited to be co-organizer for the D&D swap with Aislynn. I am thinking to do the tree swap - but like this notion better as I am all about the elements (although I have a fifth element of spirit or storm in my elemental goup). Wonder if I could pull of doing both, as well as the D&D with my other swaps going...

any idea when this would be closing sign ups? I should have feedback on a couple more swaps by the end of October...

Also - there are rocks associated with all of the elements, not just the earth, so that can be another aspect to explore for items.

I am willing to assist the organizer if they need guidance and help whether I can sign up or not, and if I have an open slot when this gets posted I will be a co-organizer. You can only be organizer in three swaps at any given time - but I don't think there are any rules about being an unofficial helper, LOL!

send me a PM if you want to organize, but want some pointers

Ronda

Wow, what a great idea.  I have never organized before so I wouldn't know where to begin unless I had help!  I may be in over my head...but I love this idea! Roll Eyes
