Ha Ha - I'll try that! I think the poor bloke thinks our house is disappearing under a tide of craft supplies, I'll have to make him something to sweeten him up!

Woohooo! Embroidery, swapping, and Sublime Stitching patterns!

Here's another idea.. I started reading the things Crafty Gurlllll listed off as some crafts to make with the patterns. In March 07, I made some shrinky dink charms with Jenny's patterns! I traced the patterns onto shrinky dink paper with a marker and colored them how I wanted, hole-punched the top and used my scissors to cut around the pictures and new hole, then baked the shrinky dink paper in the oven, and had my own charms to play with or add to necklaces:



The donuts were my own little drawing, but I added them in the picture! They kinda remind me of Homer Simpson's favorite donuts.. lol.


Chihuahua shrinky dink charm after it was baked, next to one of the patterns for size difference.

There's soooooo many things you can make with Sublime Stitching patterns!

Cuteness!  Cleverness!  I love what you did with the patterns!  Have you used the charms to make anything?  Would they be sturdy enough for use as buttons?  Another crafty adventure to add to my list of *some day*

Ooh, this sounds fun!!  I was thinking stuffies and felt patches would be cool to try.  I love the Shrinky Dinks!!  And I would love to receive something sublimely stitched.  Maybe this would even encourage me to give embroidery a try!
