Hi All!
Feels like I've been away forever!  My last job blocked Craftster (I know! How rude!!!) and then I started working for myself and got swamped with stitching!  Anyway. . .

I just wanted to let you all know that I just started blogging about embroidery for Craft Stylish a few weeks back.  I'll be posting how-to's, projects and tips every Wednesday .  Most of the posts will be about embroidery though there will be a few forays into fabric printing as well.  Here's a link to my first post, a how-to of 5 basic stitches:
http://www.craftstylish.com/item/8312/how-to-five-handy-embroidery-stitches
And a link to my second post on organizing your floss:
http://www.craftstylish.com/item/8764/organize-your-embroidery-floss

I'll also be on the lookout for awesome projects to talk about on the CS blog.  If you see something or have something feel free to send me a PM and let me know!

Hope you enjoy my posts.  If you have any requests or recommendations, let me know those too!

Hearts and happy stitching,
erika

That five handy embroidery stitch tutorial is great. I only know how to stitch in crosses, so I'm gonna practice what you've shown and broaden my horizons.
Great colour combo on the pics as well. Can't beat a bit of peach.

Glad to know it helped!  Yeah, I wanted a nice bold color contrast to highlight the stitches.  Happy to know it worked.

Hey all!
My new CS post is up AND it has a downloadable pattern!  It's one pattern, three ways - outline, shading, full fill.

Check it out!
