I guess this would be the best place to post this.  I revamped it, but since it was already a headband before, I don't think it would qualify as "reconstructed".  It kinda reminds me of a Munchkin from the Wizard of Oz.

Before:

After some ribbon, a flower and a button:

Everything I used I already had on hand.  You could use something other than a flower if you don't have one.  Maybe a fabric flower?  A larger button?  A couple of buttons? Something made out of polymer? It's a very simple project!

I've posted a complete tute at my blog. http://sunnytuesday.blogspot.com/2008/08/spot-of-sunshine-on-dreary-day.html

This is super-cute!  Grin

Headbands are cool. They were a big lifesaver for me back in the day when I was growing out my bangs. I like the button in the center of the flower. Smiley

This is very cute! My daughter will only wear headbands (unless I get to do her hair). The flower is a great size.

Thanks!  I initially tried to just hot glue the flower head in its entirity to the headband, and that turned out badly.  The flower stuck up about an inch and looked ridiculous.  Now it lies flat with the button!
