This is not an original idea, but rather than order the kit that's advertised (for $40 freakin' dollars!),  I figured out the process and produced my own.  This is a plaster cast of my torso from my very last pregnancy.  After casting I painted it with acrylics and now it resides on my bedroom wall.  I'd love to hear what you think!

it's beautiful , I especially love the butterfly and  flower up top. did you use a transfer or stencil or was that all you? it's awesome.


 I wish had done something like that when i was pregnant with my daughter.

wow! how beautiful!! I did that for both my babies but just the belly so they look strange, I havent decided what to paint on them yet. I guess I should do that soon seeing as they are 3 and 1 Tongue

This is so great!  I love the way you painted yours.  I got all the supplies to do it, and then by the time I was that big, I was so ill that I couldn't plastering my body.  I should've "worked through it" as they say.  I regret not having the gorgeous memento.  Great job!

I found the cast materials at Michael's.  Quick, cheap, and easy!
