hi, just a few of my latest projects

my first filet crochet, I was really pleased with how this turned out,

my attempt at cold shoulders. The yarn I used is really itchy and I probably won't wear it. I'm going to make another in a different yarn

Short n sweet

I got soooo confused with this pattern but I got there in the end. I was so happy with this 'cos it's my first garment.

Thanks for looking, i'd love to hear your comments

I love the bat curtain!! What is filet crochet anyway? I've tried looking into it, but still don't understand it.

Love the shirt. I made a shawl that looks similar (it's even the same color...lol) for my daughter, it came out really great. I'll have to get pics and post them on here. Believe it or not, I still haven't even taken pics of a lot of my projects! LOL

Cold shoulders is the only pattern from Stitch 'n' Bitch I ever finished because I get so lazy with patterns and decide to screw around. Did you ever remake the piece with new yarn? It looks lovely, even if it does look itchy, and looking at this post reminded me I've been meaning to tackle the filet crochet section of the book. Those bats are adorable.
