that is AWESOME.  You gave me the perfect idea for my son's fifth birthday!  He plays the air guitar like he's on fire.  It is so freakin' funny.  I'm totally going to make one.  I wonder if you can incorporate rubber bands to make some noise?

great job.

it was a kit! a preprinted piece of fleece where you followed the instructions. I bought it from a friend who bought it in America - probably joanns or hancocks. It was a few years ago though Sad

We had one of those spiderman capes and it was bought in a sheet of fleece at joanns about four years ago.

I had a hard time parting with the guitar--I especially loved putting the velvet pieces on and the contrast of how the different fabrics felt (niether of which would come along in any picture).  I am so happy you like it!

I sent girlosun_9 a Molly Monkey from a pattern she had listed a link too.  She is saving it for a present so I thought that I would post pictures.  I really, really liked this one and I know that I'll be making two more.  Another girl and a boy for my son.
The shoes, hat and skirt come off, so you could make more clothes for her.

And here is a link to the FREE pattern. http://mmmcrafts.blogspot.com/2008/07/drum-roll-pleasemolly-monkey-pattern.html It is way too cute not to try and I'm not a sewer and it was pretty easy.  Oh, except this Molly has two sets of ears.  Inner and outer b/c I pinned them on wrong and when I flipped it right side out I was like, 'hey where did the ears go?'  They are on the inside of her head.  Never mind...I'll just sew them on my hand.
