I wasn't particularly in the mood for playing with fibers (usual for me) so I constructed this from Japanese origami paper.  All of the squares brightly colored and securely glued together.  The beads between them are leftover from when my mother was pregnant and basically bedridden, so she made bags of bead snowflakes.  And, she'll kill me for this, that makes them now vintage!

Well, the paper is pretty nice stuff.  Not thick or anything, but it has an almost woven texture to it.  Thanks for the compliments everyone!

umm, try googling origami boxes?  There's a ton of different varieties, but I wanted something really simple because the paper is so busy.  I used one of my mom's old books, but I'm sure they're online too.
