I was chatting to my best friend on msn last night and she commented on how chilly it is getting in the evenings now. I told her she needs a shawl like me but she laughed & said she couldn't wear a shawl, they're for old ladies ( I'm a week older than her *lol* ) so I gathered up some left over & yarn made her a COLD SHOULDERS CAPELET  Grin
I made one for myself last year but my 18 yr old niece has made it hers so I KNOW this isn't for oldies only  Wink
I made a start whilst we were chatting last night and wove in the loose ends at 5.30 this morning whilst hubby was getting ready for work  Smiley
Hopefully I'll get to see her this week and hand it over.

So happy that my friend managed to visit today! Here is an action pic, she made me promise not to show her face

Gosh, Kook! Every time I see something from you, I want to make it too!! I love this one. Is there a pattern, or did you wing it? Nice work either way!  Smiley

2nd one this week *lol* this one is for my niece - the one who stole mine  Cheesy
Made from 100% polyester yarn and very soft and light, a bit of a chenille type thing going on and get this 40p a skein  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked that's around 70c I reckon - bargain. I used slightly over one skein so it cost me about 50p to make  Grin
