Based off of this hat from gaiaonline.com

I made it out of Lion Brand Jiffy in white using 2 skeins. Took me less than a week.

Well, i totally love hats that have animals ears/faces on them.  Sooooo of course I love this one you made.  Did you write down the pattern per chance?  Just wondering.  I love it, and sooo want one! Grin

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

I used a combination of an online pattern and my own. I'll edit the first post with the pattern links and whatnot when I get around to it.

So I used this pattern from missjoy: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=135799.10 except that I did a few rounds of dc before I did the ribbing. Then I crocheted 3 rounds of ribbing. For the earflaps I did 1 row (10 sts) of sc then 4 of dc.

When that was done I did 1 final round of just sc. Eyes and heart are self explanatory.

Very cute!  My daughters play on Gaia and got the real hats for Christmas last year.  They were expensive!  I wish I would have had this pattern then!
