Gorgeous, gorgeous and even more gorgeous. I'm so jealous of your daughter having such a fab bag and talented mummy!

I've already left a comment, but I just had to come back and ask where you got that fabric.  I LOVE it!!

Agrafikartist, HeartofMary has put a tutorial up here for a small backpack.  It doesn't have the exact details of this one, but it would give you a good place to start.  Elastic could be used instead of a drawstring, and a kangaroo pocket instead of the regular one.  It's a very good tute.

OMG, that is so cute and pretty.  You did a fabulous job.  Please, please, please can you do a tute for us.   Grin  It's just wonderful.  I love the inside and I bet your lil' one is so proud.  The fabric is beautiful, too.  Did you have to use iron-on interfacing or is the fabric stiff enough.  I made a couple and the fabric I chose just didn't hold up well.  With your permission may I copy the pics and try and figure out how to make one for myself?  I just love it.

Addendum:  I just read in the rules that I shouldn't demand a tute.  I could change or take this out but I really would like to see how you did this.  And maybe other might like that too.  So please don't be offended by my request  I really mean it as a complement. Grin

i never knew it was against the rules to ask for tut's. how else are you suppose to request them?

will definitely try to do one.

I love everything about this bag!  How big is it?  I carry a backpack purse...I have a 4 year old and a 2 month old and I need my hands free to shop...I have tried to make a backpack for me to carry and it just hasn't  worked out yet... Bowing to your craftiness!  If you happen to post a tute I am sure I would use it (wink wink).

Cute book bag! Good job. Smiley I like the colors and the little "features" on it.
